Friendship Center
This logo design is for the Friendship Center, a community outreach program at Fayette Friendship Community Church.
The client requested that I create a logo design for his church’s new community outreach program, the Friendship Center. This program provides support to members of the community that are in need by partnering with local food banks and other organizations. The Friendship Center’s focus is “a hand up, not a handout.” They aim to provide resources that empower people in need to create the life they want.
The Process
In the planning phase, I began brainstorming using the vision as inspiration. One of the images that came to mind was a staircase, symbolizing progress and growth. Fayette Friendship Community Church has a beautiful building with a distinctive front facade. After some sketching, I showed the client two versions: one with an illustration of the church’s building and one with an abstract staircase illustration.

The client loved Option 1 and only requested a slight change to the wording. Check out the final design:
